Temporarily seal outlets from cold water tanks to enable down service valve removal/replacement without the need to drain the tank.
Can be used to seal expansion tank feed pipes to aid in flushing central heating systems – no need to cut and cap feed pipe.
Seals supply pipe work (up to 75 PSI) to enable gate and full bore valve replacement even when ‘Jet Swet’ is in place.
Acts as a useful safety back-up whilst using pipe-freezing equipment should the unit thaw unexpectantly.
Allows for soldering of pipe work that would otherwise prove difficult due to water seeping into joint (rubber gasket must be inserted at least 75mm beyond soldered fitting).
