BSI Standards Changes
British Standards Institution (BSi)
The following list of Standards have recently been updated:
· BS 5546: 2010 Specification for installation and maintenance of gas-fired water-heating appliances of rated input not exceeding 70 kW net
· BS 7375: 2010 Distribution of electricity on construction and demolition sites. Codes of practice – provides recommendations for the distribution of electricity on construction and demolition sites, including the provisions of the appropriate parts of BS 7671: 2008
· BS 8431: 2010 Electrical static meters for secondary metering and sub-metering. Specification – specifies requirements for newly manufactured electronic secondary meters or sub-meters. It covers meters which measure either electrical energies alone or electrical energies together with other electrical parameters associated with the energy.
· BS EN 1857: 2010 Chimneys - Components – Concrete flue liners
